Yes we have, and in some cases, the bride and groom are so drunk at the end of the night that they don't pay any attention to what we say, but we love it!
A few things to make these images look as good as possible:
- Don't run! It's impossible to nail focus on your faces if you are running towards the camera. Enjoy the moment, look around, have some fun, kiss each other, play with your guests.
- Stop a few times along the way and strike a pose. A simple one! It can be a kiss, a stare at each other, or simply a smile to your guests, but stop for a while so we can get our settings right (5 seconds is more than enough!) and take some nice pictures of you.
- Buy decent sparklers. We've seen 50 people trying to light up sparklers that were either humid or very bad quality, because half of the people couldn't make it work. The longer the sparklers, the better.
- A couple steps before the end, stop and hold a kiss for a few seconds so we can capture the sparklers behind you for that photo you're looking for.
We'll tell you most of these things before doing it at the reception, but as I said at the beginning, you might be one of those couples who had a few too many drinks and might forget most of this tips anyways!
Please note: As far as we know, it's forbidden to travel with Sparklers. Reach out to your planner to find out the best way to buy them in the area.
